Topics: Introduce the basic elements of fire
Cover the difference between detection & notification
Discuss the principle of operation for all the different types of detectors
Identify various methods of notification devices including sounders and strobes
Discuss the function of a fire alarm control panel
Explain the different types of wiring
Clarify the difference between standards and codes of practice
Other information: All classes will be conducted 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time), unless otherwise noted. The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the daily schedule during the course, as needed.
