Description: Gent Maintenance and Service Training
Objectives: This is a two-day program of instruction which encompasses a review of the fundamentals of Gent Service and Maintenance procedures, as well as intensive training of the operation principles used to operate the FACP
Topics: FACP Operation will include all levels of authorization [Basic and Alter Status functions], as well as training of basic operation principles. Program training of the systems will be accomplished both on a live training system. System maintenance [to include system operation] and report functions will also be covered
Minimum Pre-requisites: Participants to this course should have:
Employee of Selected GENT service partners
Have at least 1-year experience of commissioning of Fire alarm systems
Knowledge of TCP/IP Network topology
Other information: Students must be employed by an authorized HONEYWELL Security distributor or be
accompanied by an employee of an authorized distributor. Attendees should preferably have knowledge of PC Hardware, Windows 7 and Server 2008 OS. Have knowledge of TCP/IP Network topology, Pro-Watch security Management System knowledge is of advantage but not mandatory as well as SQL knowledge.
All classes will be conducted 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time), unless otherwise noted. The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the daily schedule during the course, as needed. IMPORTANT NOTES: Honeywell Security MEA suggests that attending students NOT make air travel arrangements back to their home location before 7:00PM (local time) on the final day of the class. It is strongly recommended that airfare travel arrangements made be refundable in case of class cancellation.
