Description: 3 days course to cover the Honeywell XLS120/XLS140-2 & XLS3000 field devices, annunciators, control panels, networks overview, operation & maintenance
Objectives: This course is designed to provide Honeywell End- users with the required training for Operation and Maintenance which covers the Honeywell US field devices, annunciators, control panels, networks overview, operation & maintenance
Assessment: Must complete the 3 day training and completed the final exam to get the certificate of attendance. It is also a mandatory for the student to perform the "ONLINE FEEDBACK" on the last day of the class.
Topics: Training Introductions: Guidelines/Admin, Scope, Objectives, agenda & schedule. Basic Fire Alarm overview. Product Overview including panels, annunciators, networks, etc. SLC introduction includes: SLC styles, protocols, devices list, device terminations. Hands-on SLC devices terminations
XLS 3000/NCA2 Hardware XLS3000/NCA2 Operation & brief programming using panel keypad. XLS 3000/NCA2 troubleshooting including: system troubles and point troubles. Hands-on Panel Operation and troubleshooting.
XLS120/XLS140-2 Hardware XLS120/XLS140-2 Operation & brief programming using panel keypad. XLS120/XLS140-2 troubleshooting including: system troubles and point troubles. General system testing & Maintenance as per NFPA 72. Hands-on Panel Operation and troubleshooting. Final Exam Written &/or Hands-on
Other information: All classes will be conducted 8:00AM to 5:00PM (local time), unless otherwise noted. The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the daily schedule during the course, as needed. Honeywell MEA suggests that attending students NOT make air travel arrangements back to their hone location before 7:00PM (local time) on the final day of the class. It is strongly recommended that airfare travel arrangements made be refundable in case of course cancellation.
